Let’s chat about Perfect Pick-Me-Up! This is one Wellah's products that I use multiple times a week. With 80mg of caffeine, it provides a decent energy kick, so I love to drink it before a workout when I don’t necessarily want to use pre-workout. (I like to use my pre-workout for a heavy weights day, but otherwise if I’m doing cardio, barre, pilates, or power flow- I like the energy but don’t need the intense drive a pre-workout provides!). This is especially handy before early morning classes. I’ll mix up one serving in about 6 ounces of water, and drink it in the car on the way to the gym and it’s the perfect amount without too much liquid sloshing around my stomach when I’m moving around.
Another time of day I find myself reaching for Perfect Pick-Me-Up is right around 2 or 3pm when the afternoon slump hits! I could make a run to a soda drive through, but Pick-Me-Up will do the exact same thing- for cheaper (per serving) and no artificial sweeteners! It’s only 10 calories and totally curbs my craving for what a soda would offer me- especially if I mix it with a flavored sparkling water. Not to mention the added nootropics that help boost mood and focus, like taurine, N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine, and B vitamins. (Can your soda do that?!). If you really want to live your best life- mix sparkling water, a serving of Perfect Pick-Me-Up, and a splash of creamer.
